Synopsis: ‘Love story’ is a 2d animation about a young lover and their long-distance relationship. It tells the story of true love overcoming distance. The young lover is about to break up because of an overseas offer, but their relationship is strong enough to cross the distance after all.

Biography
Xiao Han is an animator and filmmaker from China. She is on her way to exploring experimental animation and currently studying her MA animation at UAL.
Artist/ Director statement
'Love Story' is a true story about my boyfriend and me. We have fallen in love for three years, but we have been in a long-distance relationship for more than one year because I am studying abroad. But we believe that true love can break the limit of distance, so I made such a short film to depict our mental journey at that time. All animations are drawn in Adobe Animate. The flowing lines and rich transitions vividly depict the various scenes of the young lover. The emotion of music changes according to the plot of the story, thus enriching the experience for the audience. I hope that simple film will resonate with you somewhere.
